Our Store

Island Adventures’ main office and gift shop is located at 1801 Commercial Avenue in Anacortes, WA. Our facility is unique to the whale watching tour business here in the northwest. It provides an easy to find, comfortable place for our guests to check in and allows plenty of space to browse through the many unique gifts and souvenirs filling our 2400 sq. ft gift shop. We keep a clean restroom, share visitor information, and give out many smiles! Our central location also gives us the ability to move our vessel to a different marina without confusing our guests. Don’t worry about a thing; we’ll give you detailed directions to the boat upon check in.

**Please remember that when booked on our spring Gray Whale Tours from Everett, go directly to the Everett Marina. Our staff will be on the dock in front of Anthony’s Restaurant ready to welcome you aboard ½ hour prior to departure. If booked on a Whale Watch tour departing from Anacortes, please check in at our gift shop 1 hour prior to departure, but no later than ½ hour prior. Thank you!

A quick history…

We purchased the property on Commercial Avenue in early 2004 in order to expand our services, increase visibility, and as always, to keep improving our product. The land was undergoing a full remediation, removing underground fuel tanks from the previous owner’s gas station. Once all cleared by the Department of Ecology, we began the remodel of the building. With a new tile floor, new walls, ceiling tiles, counter tops, granite capped check in counter, crown molding, new paint, new patio, and rock faced exterior, and it was a great feeling to know that we had improved the overall look, feel, and cleanliness of our little corner of Anacortes. We wanted our building to represent quality — the quality that we put into our tours everyday.
