Island Adventures is known as the areas’ premier whale watching company, but we also offer private charters through the year.

Both the Island Explorer 3 and the Island Explorer 4 feature full walk around lower decks, upper viewing decks, great sound systems, heated cabins, galley service, his and her restrooms, and the best crew in the area.

Island Explorer 3

The Island Explorer 3 is USCG certified for 149 passengers and most comfortable for approximately 120 passengers in nearly all types of weather conditions. In 2016, she was re-powered with state-of-the-art, tier 3 engines that surpass California emission standards, while increasing speed by 30%. She is 101 ft. long, 24 ft. wide, and one of the nicest tours boats you will ever set foot on. She departs out of Everett March to mid-May; she then moves north and calls Anacortes home for the rest of the season mid-May to October.

Island Explorer 4

The Island Explorer 4 was completely remodeled in 2014. She is the little sister to the Island Explorer 3, with a USCG certification for 126 passengers. The Island Explorer 4 is 85ft long and 22ft wide. She departs out of Anacortes April to mid-May; she will then head southwest to the Olympic Peninsula where she will call Port Angeles home from May to October.
